At Estudener, we have extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of free-standing lattice towers with triangular sections and tapered geometry, available in heights of up to 200 meters.
These are robust and versatile structures, specially designed for sites with extreme wind and/or ice loads, where maximum stability and resistance are required.
Optimized design for each project
Every self-supporting tower is calculated specifically for its site, considering the project’s technical and geotechnical requirements.
Our engineering department optimizes every structural element to deliver the safest, most efficient, and most cost-effective solution.
The towers are manufactured in 6-meter sections:
- Upper sections, smaller in size, are supplied as a single piece, with the lattice welded to the legs to speed up assembly.
- Lower sections, larger in size, are manufactured as separate components, with the lattice bolted to the legs for on-site assembly.
Flexible installation and complete technical support
Towers are typically lifted in one or two large sections, although our engineering team can define alternative lifting configurations depending on crane availability and the space conditions on site.
We provide all the technical documentation required for selecting the lifting equipment, as well as load details for foundation design. If preferred, we can design the complete foundation based on the site’s geotechnical report.
We also supply anchor bolts and the positioning template, as well as rest platforms or assembly platforms when the tower is installed in more than two sections.
Durability and high-quality finish
All our free-standing towers are delivered hot-dip galvanized, ensuring long service life and maximum protection against corrosion.
Optionally, they can be painted in white and red for aviation obstruction marking, using high-durability outdoor coatings.
Smart solutions
Our self-supporting towers are designed for optimized transport and can be shipped on standard trailers or in conventional containers, without the need for special transport arrangements.
This is a key advantage that reduces logistical costs and simplifies on-site planning.
